Introduction

Group 03 Technology Grade 9 blog is a learning site that is intended to making learning simple, interesting and fun for learners.

Technology is the use of knowledge, skills and resources to satisfy human needs and to identify and solve problems through examination, design, development and evaluation of product, systems and processes.Because of the need to produce a literate community in terms of technology, South African Department of Education saw it necessary to introduce technology education that will help produce engineers, technicians and artisans of tomorrow. The subject encourages learners to be innovative and develop their productive and critical thinking abilities. Through technology, learners learn effective time management and material resources skills that will give them a chance for learning together and improvement of teamwork.
